Verdict
Ruth Carr's team invariably thrive upon their racing and FROSTY THE SNOWMAN has plenty to recommend him on this occasion. The grey was a fair third at Pontefract on his most recent outing, and with the going at Doncaster likely to dry out, he can take the opportunity to finally get off the mark. Tower Power ran no sort of race when tried at the same West Yorkshire venue though Ismail Mohammed's colt shouldn't be ruled out as he'd kept on well to score at Ripon on his previous start. Artistic Muse is unexposed and the market should give us a fair idea as to what to expect on her first foray into handicaps. Strait Run has also had less racing than most and having initially been rewarded for his Newbury victory with a mark of 80, the assessor has finally begun to revise his earlier conclusions.
