Not much for us to go on other than pedigree here and from a short list also comprising Donny Briggs, Sure Josie Sure, Baligha and Artist's Moon we'll take DEN MASCHINE to score. Kevin Ryan's gelding should handle the ground nicely and being related to a German Oaks winner he should have plenty of stamina. Cut should suit him well enough and we will chance him. Artist's Moon represents much respected connections and is an obvious danger, though his blood relatives are more from the sprinting fraternity. Baligha is another with a Flat pedigree and she too is well-related and from a yard that does so well in this sphere, so a good run is anticipated. Sure Josie Sure cost 57,000 pounds as a yearling and she is also related to good middle distance stock from the level, so check out the market for clues to her chance. Donny Briggs is the most experienced runner here but has to try and defy a penalty for winning at Newcastle last time and in what is bound to be a competitive event that will be tough to do. Check out the market for an insight into how others might go but without that knowledge we'll go with Den Maschine.
