An ultra-competitive sprint in which most have some sort of chance. Mac's Power won the race 12 months ago and had several of today's rivals behind but he's 10lb higher now and only beat one home when fancied for the Ayr Gold Cup last time. Kaldoun Kingdom looked certain to end his losing run at York last time but was scythed down in the closing stages. He's won off higher marks in the past and should be in the firing-line again, though is closely matched with improving three-year-old Elusivity on a line through York winner Sirius Prospect. Anne Of Kiev came back to form at Newmarket earlier this month and Seal Rock should also go well, while Bonnie Brae is better than she showed last time. Marvellous Value should reverse Ayr running with Cheveton but stablemate MASS RALLY has shown more than enough to suggest he can win a race like this before the season is out. He can gain his revenge on Haydock conqueror Valery Borzov on 2lb better terms and come up trumps today.
