ALDIROUS could spring a real surprise here and gets the vote ahead of Goldan Jess and Victorias Groom The ground seems about right for the pick to repeat the feats of three starts ago where he took a similar contest over distance at Uttoexter. The form from the race stands up with the third placed runner going on to score next time up and with the selection racing off a much more competitive mark then in recent average outings he could well get his head back in front. Goldan Jess has been running consistently well off marks higher than he carries here. He ran well in defeat to claim runners up spot over a shorter trip at Leicester last time but the four-year-old is yet to perform over this distance and that may be his downfall. Victorias Groom has been running consistently recently after a string of unseatings. If that consistency can be transferred into a something little better she can score. If River Phantom can return this season still running to last terms level then he'll be close while Puy D'Arnac has shown promise from two outings last season but we go for a bit of a shock with Aldirous.
