Tiger Frog appreciated the drop to this distance when opening his account at Catterick last week and is taken to defy a 7lb penalty and follow up at the main expense of Don Valentino and Cooling Castle. The last mentioned has rather harshly been raised 10lbs for his win at Southwell last time and has more to do here so a bigger threat to the selection may come from the lightly raced Don Valentino, who looks well treated for his debut in this grade judged by the form shown when winning at Haydock last month. The formerly useful flat horse Transit has so far disappointed over hurdles but Brian Ellison has his team in good form at present so he cannot be discounted. Summer Stock and Buz Kiri are consistent performers and are worthy of a mention but Tiger Frog remains unexposed and looks the one they all have to beat.
