Verdict

Ryan Moore has a rare ride for Godolphin on the returning Madkhal, who is having just his third run on Turf. But he may need to be at the top of his game to prevent MUTAMAASIK from completing the four-timer. Roger Varian’s gelding goes from strength-to-strength and had no problem switching to Turf at Newmarket last month. I Could Do Better has disappointed the last twice and Dutch Treat remains out of sorts but Archaeology likes straight courses and was a winner over a mile here in May. He’s preferred to Haydock third The Great Heir.
