Verdict

Too Friendly is 2-2 but steps up in grade for this normally-informative Triumph Hurdle trial. Flat winner Kolisi is highly tried on debut but the unbeaten Knight Salute shouldn’t be far away again. He easily beat Impulsive One at Kempton but the form of his victory in a Cheltenham Grade 2 last time, when Magistrato was only fourth, has since been devalued. PORTICELLO beat the latter in France and accounted for Sacre Pierre at Wetherby on his UK debut, despite still showing signs of inexperience. Gary Moore’s juvenile looks a smart prospect.
