Bishops Court was a popular winner of this 12 months ago and is taken to score again at the main expense of Dragon Flyer and Fire Up The Band. The last mentioned was a progressive performer earlier in the spring when winning handicaps at Ascot and Newmarket and lost no caste in defeat when second to Patavellian in the Stewards' Cup on his return following a three-month break. A subsequent defeat in Ripon's Great St Wilfred is a worry though and the four-year-old may be best watched today. Dragon Flyer is a consistent performer and should again be thereabouts but Mick Quinn's filly is held by Bishops Court on running at Chester in July and may once more have to play second fiddle to Lynda Ramsden's gelding. The son of Clantime is sure to be absolutely spot on for this, gets on well with Frankie Dettori and is taken to give weight away all round. Smokin Beau is well treated on official BHB ratings but has been below par recently and is probably best watched and of more interest may be the three-year-old Revenue, who is fresher than most of these after just two starts this term. The consistent Dubian Gift and Night Prospector, another three-year-old, are others worthy of a mention but Bishops Court has solid claims and is taken to follow up last year's success.
