Flossy Winner at Chester in May. won this race in 1999 but well beaten last year and the handicapper looks to have her measure at the moment.
Golden Wells (IRE) Loves soft ground but yet to prove he stays this far and faces a stiff task with this weight. Wears blinkers for the first time.
Dream With Me (FR) Excellent effort at Ascot last time on only second outing of the season, and has more scope than most here so definitely one for the shortlist.
Marrakech (IRE) Lightly-raced 4-y-o who won over this trip at Ascot in June. Not easy to assess but ground may be a worry.
Thundering Surf Winner twice this year and not disgraced on last two outings, so should be thereabouts again.
Mesmeric (IRE) Bounced back to form with a good win at Newmarket last time but may struggle to confirm the form with one or two of those who finished behind him that day.
Scorned (GER) Struck form with a very game win on heavy ground here last time, with a number of these behind. Clearly in good heart and should have a big run.
Don't Sioux Me (IRE) Faced ca stiff task behind Hatha Anna last time but has an equally tough task here on handicap debut.
April Stock Well suited by this trip and ground and ran really well over an inadequate trip at Ascot after a lengthy absence. Should be able to reverse form with Golden wells and looks the one to beat.
Dancing Bay Kept on nicely to win at Ayr last time but best form has come over further than a mile and a half.
Damask Rose (IRE) Shapes like a thorough stayer and loks quite harshly treated on what she has achieved so far.
Nowell House Suited by these conditions but behind one of today's opponents on each of last three starts. Not without a chance, though.
Bawsian In prime form earlier this season but appears handicapped to the hilt now and well behind Scorned last time.
Lermontov (USA) Yet to win in this country and not certain to stay this trip.
Batswing Won this race last year and quite well treated on that form. Likes these conditions, but hasn't shown much encouragement in three starts this season.
Mana d'Argent (IRE) In and out performer this season but far from disgraced behind Scorned last time and would have a chance if able to reproduce that form.
Carousing Versatile type who goes on any ground and is a fair sort over hurdles, but may just lack the class to win this.
Tikram Hurdles winner who ran quite well over 10f last time, but not known whether he will see out these extra two furlongs in this company.
Generous Diana Relishes these conditions and seems to thrive at this time of year. Could go well at a decent price.
Red Carnation (IRE) Progressive filly who steps up to this trip for the first time and not the easiest to assess.
Rampant (IRE) Surprise winner at Leicester penultimate race, but well beaten since and may struggle in this company.
Royal Cavalier Has only won over nine furlongs and faces a very tough task here.
Mini Lodge (IRE) Has shown nothing this season and it would be a major shock if he proved good enough.
Bow Strada Stayed on well to win at York last month but this looks a lot harder.
