Just the one winning favourite in the previous eight renewals and this looks just as competitive. But CANYARI scored over track and trip on his penultimate start and drops back down in class after failing to figure at Goodwood. He is preferred to stablemate Jan Van Hoof while Rex Imperator has a shout on his earlier win at Thirsk and Seeking Magic should also go well in this grade. Master Bond has been in good form over 5f and Regal Dan has been thereabouts over 7f of late. Strategic Force, Stonefield Flyer, See The Storm and Savannah Beau were all placed in lower grade sprints on their latest starts and Sunraider is not out of this either on his earlier form at this level.
