The lightly-raced Marmoom beat Crowdmania at Newmarket last time and a line through the latter gives him the beating of Expert, who was just touched off when starting favourite for a conditions race over 6f at this meeting last year and is beginning to look well handicapped again. Basil Berry beat Wilde Inspiration over course and distance in May and should confirm that form on today's terms but AZAGAL is fancied to reverse York running with the former and also take revenge on Ticking Katie on this better going. Tim Easterby often has one laid out for this meeting and his filly, only a pound higher than when successful over track and trip in May, is preferred to Sir Robert Cheval, who is another coming down the weights.
