      Verdict

      Johnny B Goode is best with some cut in the ground as when winning at Thirsk back in August. But ANONYMOUS JOHN scored in heavy going at Windsor last month, beating subsequent winner Wolfofwallstreet a length with the remainder a further eight lengths behind. The latter is also preferred to Hamilton winner Straightothepoint and Southwell runner-up Crosse Fire and gets the nod. Granola improved in soft ground last time and should go well again.
