    Verdict

Alpine Flower is rated 75 on last year's placed efforts but was well beaten on her reappearance over track and trip. WAR SPIRIT is preferred on last month's third at Salisbury behind the progressive Iseemist and Richard Hannon's charge gets the vote, though both Koala Bear and Bondi Beach Babe posted improved efforts last time with the latter making most appeal of that pair. The thoroughly-exposed Red Forever is harder to fancy.
