KORNGOLD is running out of chances and now blinkered but has the ability to make a mockery of his current mark if in the mood and Ryan Moore's booking is a positive sign. Madrasa should be able to build on a first win at Redcar but the drop in distance and easier ground is a worry here while the hat-trick-seeking Bright Applause may struggle to confirm Ripon running with veteran Fossgate on 6lb worse terms. The Lodge Road was runner-up over 1m2f at Newcastle last time but has his stamina to prove over the extra quarter-mile and Artisan's only victory so far came in a modest Southwell maiden. He was tailed off on soft going at York subsequently.
