Birdman comes out best at the weights and wasn't disgraced when sixth in the Free Handicap at Newmarket behind the highly-regarded Garswood. The latter is trained by Richard Fahey so he should have a good line on the chances of Flyman. He lost his unbeaten tag in a valuable Weatherbys sales race here in September but looks a smart prospect for this season. The same comment applies to EBN ARAB. Beaten in a couple of Group 3 races having won at York on his debut, entries in the Dante and St James's Palace Stakes suggest big things are expected of him this year and Ed Dunlop's colt gets the vote. Zainda is impossible to fancy in this company.
