Verdict

This looks very competitive but Hasankey, along with Gold Des Bois, finished a long way behind Pay The Piper at Musselburgh last month and was a couple of lengths behind XCITATIONS at Wetherby later. Pam Sly’s gelding finished lame when behind Gold Des Bois and Mackenberg here earlier having won on both previous visits to Town Moor. Southwell winner Calico gave supporters of the much-vaunted Jonbon a fright in a match at Warwick three weeks ago so looks the danger.
