Valcartier won easily over a mile at Newmarket on his reappearance and this longer trip should suit on breeding. But DAAWY is already proven over the distance having landed the odds at Ripon with the minimum of fuss and the Haggas colt is just preferred. Youmkin will find this easier than his latest task behind Cracksman in the Epsom Derby Trial while Good Omen and Monticello have every chance at the weights but neither arrives in good form.
