Verdict
Course winner Tarantella Lady may be due a rest and weakened quickly when tried over a longer trip at Market Rasen in December. PITTODRIE STAR needed the run on his hurdling debut over C&D in January but travelled strongly for a long way and looked ready for a step back up in trip when fourth at Southwell last time. David O'Meara's five-year-old can make the most of the 7lb he receives from unexposed Hexham winner Aland Islands. Amron Lad and Civil Unrest have been knocking on the door and should be thereabouts but may have to settle for a place again.
