Verdict

Jonjo O’Neill Junior takes 7lb off his father’s Manny Owens, who has been getting closer but PEGGIES VENTURE came up against an in-form rival last month at Taunton having only lost out by a short-head at Worcester on her reappearance. She will be well supported again and deserves a change of luck. Jassas made a winning start for new connections at Newcastle and should figure if handling the step up in trip but Barton Knoll’s Wetherby win hasn’t worked out and he was well beaten next time at Aintree. Strait Of Magellan continues to disappoint.
