A small but select cast in this year's renewal and a new name will go on the winners list as the brilliant Golidkova took the last four runnings. After winning this last year the latter was beaten in the Jaques Le Marois by Immortal Verse. Robert Collet's dual Group 1 winner makes her seasonal debut today and needed a couple of runs to put her straight last season including a defeat in the French 1000 Guineas won by GOLDEN LILAC. The latter made a winning reappearance in the Prix D'Ispahan in May and soft ground was a legitimate excuse for her no show in the Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket last time when Elusive Kate ran a tremendous race in second. Andre Fabre's filly is expected to reverse running back to her best here, however, with John Gosden' s three-year-old chasing her home. Sagawara drops back in trip after a modest effort in the French Oaks and makes more appeal than Mashoora.
