        Verdict

        After a defeat by Canford Cliffs at Ascot, the brilliant Goldikova returned to winning ways when landing the Prix Rothschild for the fourth time over C&D last month. She beat today's rival Sahpresa a shade cosily on that occasion and is difficult to oppose but MUTUAL TRUST might just be good enough to thwart the mare. Andre Fabre's unbeaten colt has improved with every run and his defeat of Zoffany and Strong Suit in the Group 1 Prix Jean Prat at Chantilly last time highlighted his progress. Dick Turpin has the beating of Cityscape but a bit to find with Goldikova, but the Italian raider Worthadd should go well again judged on his earlier second to Canford Cliffs in the Lockinge at Newbury. French filly Immortal Verse was an impressive winner of the Coronation Stakes at Ascot and is another for each-way punters to consider.
