Katiymann finished second in this a year ago from the same mark and has been running well enough to get competitive again. ICE COLD IN ALEX is a very consistent performer in tough handicaps and though he's been racing over shorter he was staying on strongly over an extended 6f here last time and has no problems staying the extra. He gets the nod though there are numerous dangers including Solar Wave, who just got up to catch Trading Point on soft ground here last time. Cosmic Horizon has gone up 3lb for finishing second at Roscommon but is probably still fairly treated while stable companion Equitant looks well in with his young rider's claim taken into account. Turnberry Isle was well beaten behind Saltonstall at Galway and the winner is respected as is On A Session, whose close second in a premier handicap on the same track gave notice of an imminent victory.
