TAHIYRA (NAP) may have lost her unbeaten record in the 1000 Guineas but it was still a fine performance on her seasonal reappearance to finish clear of the third behind the race-fit Mawj. She has clearly trained on and can gain Classic recompense here. Meditate was only sixth at Newmarket but is the choice of Ryan Moore over Jackie Oh and Dower House, though it is difficult to see her turning things around with the Weld filly. Tarawa ran well in Group 3 company on her reappearance while Eternal Silence could go well at a price.
