Midnight Fire has improved with each run though still looked green when runner-up in what looked a strong Cork maiden. Jim Bolger has two entries but Kevin Manning has jumped ship to ride Soineanta, who was bred by Bolger and trained by him until her last run when a close third at Limerick. SOUL SEEKER showed real potential at the backend of last season but didn't reappear until last month when finding 5f too short at Navan. He'll have come on for that and gets the nod over Stalingrad, who has had a break since runner-up at Limerick in June when starting favourite.
