Joseph O'Brien has elected to ride UP in front of Soon and Devotion so presumably his mount is over her travelling exertions after her fine run in the Grade 1 Beverley D at Arlington last Saturday. That may not have been the greatest top-level race ever but she led into the straight and wasn't caught until 1f out in that 1m2f event so this looks her trip. Soon had Devotion behind when runner-up to their stablemate Twirl at Gowran but these Ballydoyle fillies have been beating each other all season and it would be no shock if the places were reversed. Manieree would be the selection under normal circumstances though she hasn't raced since landing the Group 2 Blandford Stakes in spectacular style last September so there's likely to have been something amiss.
