Three-year-olds have won four of the last five so SALTHOUSE is a very interesting entry. Jim Bolger has targeted this race after the colt's facile victory in a Leopardstown maiden and there looks to be plenty more to come from the son of Teofilo. Rory Clearly takes the ride as Kevin Manning can't make the weight and he's on board Morga, a useful hurdler who has been running in races a bit above her class on the Flat. Sempre Medici is an even better hurdler as he showed when landing a Grade 2 at Fairyhouse in April. He had some smart form on the Flat in France but could do with some rain. Fog of War is lightly-raced and progressive and found 1m6f sapping his stamina last time but Waydownsouth has been raised 6lb for his Fairyhouse victory. Shadagann looks more of a threat after a cracking effort when just failing to catch Ballybacka Queen in the Cork Derby and Golden Spear ran his best race since joining Tony Martin in a similar race over the track and trip last month.
