Jim Bolger has won this ultra-competitive handicap four times in ten years, three times with three-year-olds, so both Glor Na Mara and Whipless are very much respected. Dandy Nicholls was successful in 2007 with Machinist and Tajneed looked right back to form when runner-up at Epsom on Derby Day. The veteran Collingwood very nearly made a winning reappearance over 7f at Naas when narrowly beaten by the consistent Six Of Hearts and can reverse the form over today's trip and though The Reaper has never won on turf he's been in superb form of late and it will be a surprise if he's not involved in the finish. Mick Halford loves this race and won it last year with Invincible Ash. His representatives here, recent C&D winner Queenie Keen and the pattern race performer SNAEFELL, both have big chances and it's the latter who gets the nod in a wide-open event.
