John Oxx has won this with no less than Azamour and Sea The Stars in recent years and, in what looks a sub-standard year, AKEED MOFEED is expected to keep up the good work. A very impressive winner over 7f at Leopardstown, he's bred for middle-distances so today's longer trip is ideal and he looks a very nice prospect. Athens, who was beaten five lengths that day, has since scored at Listowel and is improving but hardly likely to reverse the form and stablemate Furner's Green, who wasn't far behind Power in the National Stakes, looks more of a threat though yet another of the Ballydoyle entries, David Livingston finished just in front on that occasion. Parish Hall has a little bit to find but could be capable of doing so over this extra furlong.
