      Verdict

      Misty For Me, who didn't stay the Oaks trip at Epsom after landing the Irish 1000 Guineas, should find this ideal and is comfortably the best hope of the home contingent but this looks on its way back to the UK with MIDDAY. Henry Cecil's five-times Group 1 winner couldn't quite resist the late dash of a rejuvenated St Nicholas Abbey in the Coronation Cup but her overall form entitles her to gain win number six at the highest level. She had no problems seeing off Snow Fairy in the Yorkshire Oaks at weight-for-age last August though there are reasons for believing Ed Dunlop's dual Oaks winner may not have been at her best as she ended the campaign with sensational victories over slightly shorter trips in Japan and Hong Kong.
