Pique Sous is a very smart stayer and hurdler on his day but might find this a bit on the short side. General Brook was having only his sixth start when beating Einstein's Folly at Cork and should progress further but Hisaabaat has been well beaten over hurdles since his Limerick success and is 8lb higher. Thomas Edison has also ben beaten over timber since his victory on the Flat though he ran very well and is one for the shortlist. SUNDARA was handed a mark of 92 after winning at Leopardstown and that could prove lenient as the 90-rated Marakoush was over 3l behind and is rated 90. Jim Bolger's Galileo colt looks the type to go on to better things and he's handed the vote.
