In depth

Verdict

Gasper De Lemos, who is in the Dewhurst, was very green behind an odds-on stablemate at Leopardstown and will have come on markedly for the experience. His stable also saddle House Of Aviz, who showed good pace over a mile here last month before weakening. TARAJ ran a fine race to finish fourth in the latter event, especially as he didn't quite get the run of the race, and he looks the one to beat. Meteor Storm, who is bred for this trip, and No Knee Never, a half-brother to Irish Derby winner Latrobe and five other winners, are newcomers to note along with the €235,000 purchase Versatile, whose dam is from a brilliant family.
