Verdict

Aidan O'Brien has won the last eleven of these and has two entries. ADELAIDE RIVER made a winning debut at Dundalk but couldn't quite hold on when tackling soft ground in a Longchamp Group 3 and was beaten a neck. Pivotal Tigger was less than a length behind after setting the pace and will also be suited by slightly quicker ground. The second Ballydoyle entry, Continuous, made a winning debut over 7f here in a race that has worked out well. Crypto Force beat the smart Auguste Rodin on his debut here but disappointed in the Chesham at Royal Ascot. Lakota Seven landed a Bellewstown maiden and has performed at Listed and Group 2 level subsequently while stablemate Roaring Gallagher was fortunate to make a winning start at Bellewstown though improvement looks certain.
