In depth

Verdict

Carraroe Flyer has won a couple of minor handicaps but shot up the ratings as a consequence. GIANT'S QUEST enters the fray in top form having won comfortably at Dundalk and followed up in a very competitive handicap hurdle at Killarney. He has a bit more to do but just gets the vote over Grecian Tiger, who ran a superb race when runner-up to the well handicapped Quick Jack at Galway. Redera is a smart dual purpose performer who will give a good account while the three-year-old John Constable improved when stepped up to 2m at Leopardstown and has more scope than most of these.
