Verdict

Constantinople possibly has the more scope of Aidan O'Brien's trio and was probably a bit unfortunate when tackling this trip in a Cork handicap. Antilles was starting to look progressive before finishing last in a Listed contest here though that couldn't have been his form. U S S Michigan finished in front of him that day but had earlier been behind him at Chelmsford while Tinandali has a lot more to do than when landing a Leopardstown maiden. Buckhurst followed his maiden victory on the latter track with a fair run behind Broome in the Derby Trial back there but Jim Bolger should have BOLD APPROACH, a debut winner at Leopardtown a year ago before chasing home Anthony Van Dyke in a Leopardstown Group 3 in July, ready for his return and he's still in the Irish Derby.
