Last year's Chester Cup winner FALCON EIGHT stays much further and was unlucky in-running when a close fifth in the Cesarewitch here last time. His class can see him home though Shanroe looks a big threat. Karl Thornton's charge reappeared after a long break by beating two rivals at the Galway Festival then ran a fair race in the Ebor. His subsequent two runs here have been at a much higher level and he'll give the selection a race. The remainder have mountains to climb on all known form with the reappearing Mona's Star possibly the best of them.
