In depth

Verdict

As with the previous race, Aidan O'Brien looks as though he could dominate this through KINGFISHER and Order Of St George. The former followed a victory over this trip in a Listed contest at Leopardstown with a tremendous performance in the Gold Cup at Ascot to finish runner-up behind Trip To Paris. That looks by far the strongest form on view and he should go one better. Sea Moon won the Group 2 Hardwicke Stakes back in 2012 for Sir Michael Stoute then headed for Australia where he landed a Grade 2 handicap at Caulfield. He will probably need his first start for John Oxx but the stable has been showing a revival so he may be capable of springing a surprise. Good Tradition has won two of his four starts but has only run on soft ground.
