In depth

Verdict

The lightly-raced Baby Zeus has moved to Willie Mullins and Colin Keane rides. He won't mind the ground and looks the type to make progress so a big run is expected. Tejano lost her maiden tag with an easy all-the-way victory on ground with give at Gowran and makes her handicap debut while Aesop overcame a long absence to score at Cork and has only been raised 3lb. Annexation's last run on the Flat was at Galway in August when beaten half-a-length and he's now 1lb lower and has won over hurdles subsequently. Joseph O'Brien runs two and BRIGHT IDEA (NAP) looks a blot on the handicap though has never raced over a trip this far. A Killarney maiden winner over a mile twelve days ago, his narrow defeat by Champers Elysees when attempting to concede 1lb here last June was boosted when the winner went on to complete a four-timer and is now rated 114.
