Verdict

After landing a Limerick maiden, Trossachs has won handicaps here and at Leopardstown in very easy fashion and though up another 12lb has an obvious chance of a four-timer despite stepping up to this trip for the first time. SHAKESPEAR'SGALLEY was always going well when scoring over the course and distance last month and though up 6lb Joseph O'Brien's improving stayer looks the one to beat. Conron won a Clonmel handicap over this trip before a superb effort when runner-up in a Punchestown handicap hurdle and he's another progressive type while Il Paradiso is very interesting over the trip for the first time having followed a Leopardstown maiden success with a run in the Irish Derby.
