Verdict

This has been a fine race for favourites with seven of the last ten winning including four from Ballydoyle. Four winners represent the yard this time around and though Tipperary winner Ambiguity was well beaten by Psychedelic Funk at Naas the winner looks very useful. Caravaggio beat a subsequent winner on his debut at Dundalk while the fillies Hyzenthlay, a surprise winner on testing ground at Navan, and ROLY POLY, who battled to a narrow victory at Naas, have massive scope. The latter just gets the vote though Mister Trader was a very impressive winner here in March despite his 25/1 starting price and could be the one to upset the O'Brien battalions. Ready To Roc beat the long odds-on King Electric comfortably at Dundalk and shouldn't be out of place at this level.
