Three-year-olds have won six of the past nine renewals of this with Jim Bolger taking it twice with that age group. He's represented here by Banimpire and Burn The Floor with the former looking the more likely to give a good account. Aidan O'Brien won this in 2005 and will be expecting a big run from Gemstone, unlikely to prove a stable star but perfectly capable of running well as she battled to victory in a C&D Listed race on her final start last year. Princess Severus gained a debut success for Ralph Beckett at Leicester and wasn't disgraced when stepped up to Group 3 company at Goodwood and new connections will want to make their mark but with none of the younger brigade really standing out it's TERMAGANT that gets the vote. Kevin Prendergast's filly landed the Moyglare Stud Stakes on her second juvenile start but was sidelined for all of last season after running in the 1,000 Guineas here in May. Hopefully she's near her best and can begin to kick-start her career. Tommy Stack tries Lolly For Dolly in blinkers with the hope of rekindling the form that saw her score twice early last year, including a Group 3 over 7f here.
