The defection of Taghrooda gives this a much more open look with several of her Epsom victims now having a much better chance. Runner-up TARFASHA had no answer to John Gosden's winner but battled on for second spot just ahead of Volume, who didn't appear to enjoy the undulations and looks sure to make a fight of it again. Irish 1000 Guineas winner Marvellous was beaten fair and square and Palace appeared to finds the trip too far and has won subsequently over shorter. Bracelet, won the Ribblesdale at Ascot though runner-up Lustrous finished very strongly and could reverse the form though the Epsom form looks stronger and Joseph's presence on board Tapestry suggests she could be the pick of the Ballydoyle quintet despite having never raced beyond a mile.
