Verdict

DICK WHITTINGTON (NAP) looked right back to his best when landing a Group 3 at Leopardstown on soft going and providing the ground doesn't quicken up he looks the one to be on. Adaay, a dual Group 2 winner last summer, just failed to hold Breton Rock in very testing ground at Haydock last month and any further rain would greatly aid his cause. Sovereign Debt was headed close home by Sruthan over a mile here last month before just failing to overhaul Birchwood over this trip at Chester. Dandy Nicholls' consistent grey should get into the action again while Toscanini takes a step-up in trip after battling on to land a 6f Listed contest here. Cheikeljack ran well in the Group 1 Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot and is another who would be suited by plenty of rain.
