A 26-runner handicap with few ruled out. Shark Bay ran poorly over 1m4f on his hat-trick bid at Galway and is better judged on earlier form over this sort of trip when just in front of GOOD HEAVENS. The latter has produced two excellent runs subsequently over a mile and this looks his optimum distance. Star Image has been in top form over 1m4f and further rain would bring his stamina into play. Safecracker also scored over the latter trip at Gowran and a 4lb rise doesn't look harsh while Shane Foley chooses Laelaps of Jessica Harrington's three entries. Peter Fahey has definite chances with Soaring Monarch and Disco boots, while Kerkiyra found 1m4f too far here last month after scoring over the track and trip.
