Minding won this for Ballydoyle last year and PROMISE TO BE TRUE has all the makings of a high-class filly. She needed only to be pushed out to land a Group Three at Leopardstown in July and Ryan Moore prefers her to stablemate and Group Two winner Rhododendron. The latter beat four of these when scoring over track and trip though Hydrangea was only beaten a head - Intricately, Rehana and Brave Anna were further behind. Jim Bolger could have found a much easier opportunity than this for his newcomer Dawn Of A New Era so the sister to the top-class Dawn Approach and Group Two winner Herald The Dawn could turn out to be a bit special, even if this task proves too much first time out.
