An earlier return to action than expected suggests FAME AND GLORY won't be anywhere near his peak but the Irish Derby winner should have few problems seeing off some decent if limited opposition. He certainly won't have to cope with the like of Sea The Stars, who beat him at Epsom, Leopardstown and in the Arc and he looks in a different league to these rivals. Gan Amhras began his second campaign with a superb third place behind Sea The Stars in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket but his form tailed off subsequently and he was well behind Fame And Glory in the Derby here. The Ballydoyle second string Dixie Music is a horse with a future who should be watched whatever his fate today but last year's winner Baron D'el has been hurdling with mixed success and doesn't look good enough this time around.
