THUNDER MOON (NAP) has never replicated his outstanding juvenile form which saw him successful in the Group 1 National Stakes here. He's fit from a recent run in Saudi and it would be no surprise to see him bounce back to winning ways. Very few three-year-olds run in this and none have won since 2001 so Markaz Paname has a lot to do after landing a Naas handicap. Belle Image ran some good races on soft ground last season so more rain would help while Current Option ran very well in the Lincoln here last month. Ace Aussie was just over a length behind Poetic Flare in the Guineas Trial at Leopardstown a year ago but didn't make the expected progress.
