In depth

Verdict

PARTNER is in superb shape at present and if turning out again under a penalty after Friday's Tipperary success he will take all the beating. Bold Thady Quill, who finished around 6l behind, missed the break and stayed on late so should get closer without managing to reverse the form. Gandolfini is another penalised entry having won nicely at Sligo last week but third-placed Award Ceremony was badly drawn on that occasion and should get much closer. Nonotech finished last in a Listed contest at Tipperary on Friday and is held by Partner on earlier Naas running and a bigger threat may emerge in the shape of Pencil Hill, who has dropped to a very lenient mark and showed that he would be winning soon when narrowly beaten by Little Arrows over 7f here last time.
