Several of these have won from higher marks including Shore Step, who completed a double here in June before a disappointing run when favourite at Naas. Prospective punters will need to ignore that last run and he faces a progressive type here in EXCELLING SPIRIT (NAP). Willie McCreery's filly landed the odds with a bit in hand at Cork where she suggested this sort of mark would be within her capabilities. Doonard Prince and Ducky Mallon are track and trip winners as is Enter The Red, who is very closely matched with the latter on their 1-2 here a year ago. Krispen's two victories have come on ground with some give so some rain would help but Omran won twice for Marco Botti in the UK and made a promising start for Ger Lyons at Navan so is one to watch.
