      Verdict

      Aiden O'Brien bids for his fifth consecutive win in this and it should prove easy pickings for MAGICIAN despite a 7lb penalty for his heroics in the Breeders' Cup Turf in November. He's since ran well behind Gentildonna in Dubai and is a cut above these. Parish Hall has yet to improve on his Dewhurst victory in 2012 though has subsequently won a Group 3 event at Dundalk. He still looks next best ahead of stablemate Paene Magnus and Jazz Girl while Hall Of Mirrors will ensure a proper pace for the selection.
