Three-year-olds have won six of the eight renewals and should continue the sequence. Aidan O'Brien has a quartet of entries but the one that catches the eye is SPIN, who was a long way behind today's rival Siren's Song on soft ground at Navan before a much stronger performance behind the high-class Banimpire at Naas. Siren's Song could hardly be faulted for her mid-division finish in the Oaks at Epsom and is better than she showed subsequently at Newmarket where she missed the break. Haziyna should be well up to this grade as she has gone very close in a couple of Listed contests but stablemate Zarebiya is one to note for the future on her reappearance as she ran a cracking race to finish a close third in this a year ago.
